Monetary Gifts

Your financial donation helps us in innumerable ways. It allows us to keep the physical doors open by helping us with the ongoing expenses of having a facility. It helps us provide quality programming and it helps us subsidize and provide services to those who are unable to pay through scholarships.  Please know that you, if you desire, you may be specific about where your donation is spent.

Kavanna House is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation under Internal Revenue Service regulations; therefore, your contribution is tax-deductible to the extent provided by law.

Gifts in Kind

We would love for you to join us in helping to provide for some of the everyday needs at Kavanna House. Sometimes the small things really add up – like coffee or paper towels – and your gifts help out immensely. Please click on the tab to see what our current needs are….

For gifts in kind, Kavanna House cannot attach a proper dollar amount to your gift. For your own record keeping purposes, you may wish to do so. Federal tax laws impose certain reporting obligations for charitable contributions of property other than cash. IRS form 8283 can instruct you on your reporting obligations.

Gifts of Service

This is a gift of your time or talent. If you love to clean, bake, garden, do yard work, shovel snow, etc., we’d love to give you the opportunity to use your gift in a way that would greatly bless us…and hopefully you too!
